Common Use of Vetmedin
Vetmedin Chewable is prescribed for dogs with congestive heart failure caused by mitral valve disease or dilated cardiomyopathy. It helps improve heart contractions and dilates blood vessels, reducing the workload on the heart. The medication may improve quality of life and extend survival time in affected dogs.

Vetmedin Dosage and Direction
The dosage of Vetmedin is based on the dog’s body weight and is determined by a veterinarian. It is typically given twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart. Vetmedin Chewable should be administered about one hour before feeding. Always follow your veterinarian’s instructions carefully.

Precautions

Storage
Store Vetmedin Chewable tablets at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep the medication in its original packaging and out of reach of children and other animals. Do not use past the expiration date.
