Common use of Roflumilast

Roflumilast / Daliresp is used to reduce the risk of COPD exacerbations in patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease associated with chronic bronchitis. Roflumilast is a phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4) inhibitor that works by decreasing inflammation in the lungs.

Roflumilast Dosage and direction

Take Roflumilast/Daliresp orally once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, and take it at the same time each day for best results.

Precautions before using Roflumilast

Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, depression, or a history of mental health conditions. Weight loss and mood changes may occur during treatment, and regular monitoring is recommended.

Contraindications

Do not use Roflumilast/Daliresp if you have moderate to severe liver impairment. It is not intended for use during acute COPD attacks or in people allergic to Roflumilast.
